Does anyone know size of oil pressure sending unit? M10 x 1.0? Seems the innovate one I bought is 1/8th pt

Ahhhhh…ok! That makes sense. Time to buy an adapter. I see some people say they restrict readings from being as accurate because its not a direct path with the fittings versus tapping the block. Sounds like a bunch of horseshit to me, but anyone else hear this?

It is horseshit, pressure is pressure. 40psi will still be 40psi a few millimeters away from the block. You can enlarge the hole in the adapter but the reading will be the same.

    edit:

1/8th npt should thread into 1/8" bsp, but not far in enough for a good seal.

28 vs 27 TPI. Not worth stressing the threads on the sensor.

I have the subaru set up with a AN braided oil hose connecting the pressure sensor about 5 inches away. Still works great, but meh who knows.

Aha! I remember seeing that there now. Already bought one from JEGS though as they have 1 day shipping to my house.
