Need Advice On If I Should Go Zenki to Kouki

  • Need Advice On If I Should Go Zenki to Kouki

    Hello everybody!
Recently I found a 87 Z very close to my house that a little old lady wants to sell.
It's an absolute disaster, mold all over the interior, water damage in the engine bay, lots of rust under the car.
I feel really bad about seeing this Z in this condition because if it weren't for the mold I would try to buy the entire thing and bring it back to beauty.
That being said, I recently came up with an idea that I'm not 100% on and I would love to get other peoples input.

I was thinking of asking $100 for the front bumper, hood, and lights since there's no way she's selling that car by the end of this month, especially since the wheels are locked.

However, I'm not totally sure I want to modify my car because I want to invest in a 50th AE as soon as I can. I'm scared that if I try doing the conversion 1, I'll screw it up 2, If I ever try selling my car, no one want it 3, I kinda don't want to mess with the originality with my car as much, because, I don't know, I liked my car when I got it because it was an original so I didn't worry that much about some idiot working on my car wrong.

Anyone have suggestions? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

    ^ Jeah.

Keep the old parts and you can always restore to OEM if you want to.

Original condition means very little on these cars unless they are low miles.

Kouki, Zenki, its a matter of taste. One is not better than the other cosmetically.

Many like the Zenki tail and the Kouki nose. While I own a Kouki turbo and a Chuki Turbo, I prefer the Kouki's.

Late Kouki Turbo's are generally better than any earlier models IMO.
