SS Clutch Line

  • SS Clutch Line

I'm in the middle of doing an automatic to manual swap on my '84, and the hard line for the master cylinder was messed up on my parts car, so I had to toss it. Does someone know where I can get a stainless steel braided line that can go directly from the master to the slave? I want to bypass the damper, and I was having trouble finding one that is long enough to go all the way....

Just order a SS line for the 240sx.
Its the same length and fittings that you'll need.

However, most people would recommend against a lengthy SS line like that. But I am sure it will be fine.

That's what I used in one of my manual swaps. There is no discernable difference in pedal feel between that and my other two manuals.

    enjoy building it yourself.
    if it fails, fuck it.
at least you gave it a whirl.

I used an HEL uk brand SS braided clutch line, it works fine and is no better or worse than than the hardline/rubber line oem setup.

I just got one I think from Enjuku racing, an ISIS conversion line for 240sx's, although still need to install it. just fired it up for the first time since all my swapping, last sunday.

I used the ISIS conversion line. Definitely long enough and love the fact you can route the line where you want to.

I use the ISIS line myself and it works great; no problems yet.
