    HELP! ASAP ANY ONE WITH TIPS AND ADVICE GOT THE BOTTOM HALF REMOVED WIGGLING BUT CANT GET IT OUT OF THE CAR. plz call me im outside working on it in the freaking cold and need some help 1 330 673 1979.

    After removing the 10mm bolts, there are several spring clips that have to be popped open with a screw driver. The one's on the drivers side above the instrument cluster can be diffiicult to get all the way released so breaking this plastic vent may happen when trying to remove. I have pulled several dashes and have broke a few. I found that it you hold the clip open with a small screw driver while also plying up on the vent, it is less likely the crack the plastic vent.

    I found that using a bent screwdriver to push the metal tabs in while prying up
    with a plastic putty blade causes the least amount of damage. Then use a mini
    1/4in drive ratchet with a 10mm socket.

    No replys yet, maybe hes frozen stiff, still holding his cel phone and flipping off his dash. :gni

    That exactly how I do it. I bent a cheap screw driver and saved it as a dash removal tool.

    I called to check on his progress and talked to his grandmother. I left a message to call me for help if needed.
