3rd brake light not working

my 3rd brake light isnt working but everything else is …not sure where to check now . i have an 86 N/A 300 zx with 3rd light in rear spoiler. i checked the "stop lamp " fuse. any other suggestions? I'm certain i had this light working recently .. i tried putting a bulb in that I KNEW FOR SURE was working but still nothing.... help plz. not to savy with the " do it your self " stuff so simple is better lol

Have you checked for a connection that is no longer plugged in? The panel has four screws and the rest are panel fasteners you just pull out. Remove the panel and there should be a connector there.

everything seemed plugged in, i had checked that already. i guess i can try to disconnect it and hook it back but im pretty sure i checked that already .

Check for voltage to the sockets. I got tail lights with harnesses and the plugs were bad. Just a thought

where / how did you replace the plugs?
