Window Corner Trim

  • Window Corner Trim

Anyone know where I can get the pictured items without spending an arm and a leg? All the ones I come across at the junk yard are just as dry rotted and broken as the ones on my car currently.

This part is no longer available through Nissan.
http://www.300zxpartsforyou.com/ has them from time to time. Look for them on page 32. Site is slow to load due to the images all being on one page.

There has to be an opportunity for fabricating/fixing this part to make some money. Almost all Z's I have seen have rotted mirror triangles. I've use silicone a few times to keep mine from falling apart. Someone has to have injection molding equipment out there

The question is would one have enough sales to off set the costs of development, molds and production?

Proudear of Japan makes reproductions of these. They are around $200. They are the only ones I know that you can get them new.

    ~~Description:
This seal fits along the back edge of the triangular corner molding. It seals the front edge of the door glass to the corner molding when the window is rolled up. Sold individually, one required per side (2 per car).
Restore it, Don't crush it. They don't make them like this anymore.

I think the part Flying T is referring too is this one.. http://www.courtesyparts.com/80827-r…-p-141345.html.
There are also 3 parts that go over the window at the mirror. these triangles seal the mirror frame both inside the and outside the car over the window glass. Those are the ones that are impossible to find . The attached pic is the piece that straddles the window Attached files
