Auto Climate system A/C issue

  • Auto Climate system A/C issue

The other day I used the A/C and it started working for a few mins then the blower fan, not the whole system would stop. All the lights on the control unit never changed. If I turn the unit off and back on again the A/C and blower would work for another minute or so then the blower would shut off again.
If I tried to change modes or air speed it would have no effect.
If I turn the unit off and back on again it works for a minute then the blower turns off.
If I turn the unit on without the A/C it works all the time.
    Any ideas?

Sounds like the fan motor is gone. Mine went too, so did my sisters.

Does the fan actually go off, or does it just stop blowing out the vents and go to the defrosters instead?
Restore it, Don't crush it. They don't make them like this anymore.

It just stops, or slows enough not to push air where it is called for.
If I select HI or LO it does not change.
If I go to ECON mode the fan runs normally all day.

Fan motor wont come on at all now, even when the bypass button is pressed. Got 12v at the fan connector, fsm says to do more testing to be sure its not the fan control amp or the blower relay. What are the odds it's NOT the fan motor?

FIXED IT! It was the relay above the fuse panel. Swapped in another one this morning and the fan fired right up.
