1987 Turbo Rear Bumperette Body Color or Trim Color?

Hi All,

I'm aware that the 1987 Turbo Rear Bumperette's came from the factory finished in the Gray Trim Color found on the side skirts, side view mirrors, etc…, however, I am not sure if this was the case for the Charcoal Gray colored Z31's. So far, most of the ones I have come across in the Gray body color came with the bumperettes painted in the body color and not the trim color. I know its easier to see the difference on other colors but this is what I have seen so far. I even had a 40K mile 87 Turbo in Gray and the rear bumperettes where body color and not trim. It is very possible the rear bumper was paintined but it just added more doubt to what was the correct finish.

Any idea on what the correct finish is, body color or trim?
