Are you talking about the rubber grommet deal that has two lips, one inside transmission and one outside, where the clutch fork comes out of? I ordered one from rockauto or courtesy nissan I believe.

Oh I don't want to speak out of my ass here. I don't know casting numbers on transmissions. If I had to take a guess, I would say that would be the # for a 71c. Better yet, what year/turbo or na? If it is the original transmission, I could just tell you the model from that.

Alright then its a 71c more then likely. Any non turbo 5 speed were 71c's so I would put my money on that. Looking for the link to what I believe you need, one minute.

thats the one thanks man. btw can i fill from the shifter opening? or do i have to use the side port? ive already got shifter out and i dont have a syringe to push fluid.

What I did when I filled my trans is I used the side port and ran a hose into the cabin. Let the gear lube sit in hot water for like 10 minutes and then fill it. Makes it a little easier and faster. You could use the top I believe but don't quote me on that.

my thought was to pull the side plug then fill from shifter until i got a steady run out of side port. i assume you put the bottle in hot water to thin the oil so it will pour easier?
