Stock Fuel Rail Mod for a two port aftermarket fuel regulator

I was thinking of just blocking the one inlet fuel line on my injector fuel rail that feeds both rails with fuel. And using the two top rails that go to the factory regulator for a In and Out line to my new aftermarket fuel pressure regulator. I think that should work Ok ?. Thats my Question
