    So if the Chevy LS series header fastner kit works on the vg30 then surely the one from the link below should fit as well im assuming?

    Genius!

    Similar design to the trim fasteners that have been used for years.

    For that price, it would be worth a try.
    I'll be doing my AE heads/turbo/manifolds soon, i am now considering these,
    and i've got a set of OE studs already. I've got SS bolts w/copper antiseize
    on the other 84T and the only complaint is they tend to back out after awhile.
    These wouldn't have that problem.

    25mm thread depth, how thick is the stock manifold?
    8-10mm?

    Strange that they didn't use Torx head locking pins.
    Allen heads can round out easier.

    25mm should fit. I have 30's on my manifold with a lock washer and the stock exhaust spacer and it still have 5-7mm of thread to go into the head.
