okay so i took my car into my buddys shop and we found the r/r wheel bearing is soo damn loose lol and that the diff is leaking at the axle seal just pouring grease. so we are replacing the bearings/arm and seals. Ripping my seats and carpet up and wielding sheets over the holes that the leaking t-tops caused. replacing my l/f caliper (leaking) front bearings and r/f spindle and a valve cover gasket all for $1200. sounded like a good deal so i went with it ya?

But the big thing he did not talk about was the l/f lower control arm how it is ovaled out at the subframe and it shifts and causes the car to pull like a bitch to the left when it does camber out. He said he did not see anything but i clipped a gopro cam and watched it shift when i brake hard or turn left. he said he is gonna take another look but if so he will replace it with poly bushings. He said my pull was from my rear bearings being shot ass fuh. Opinons?

Do any of you know where i can get some aftermarket ball joints, bushings and links and control arms for z31's?

First, your grammar is horrible and everything requires a lot of concentration to read.

Find some used front LCAs to replace your current "ovaled" set (I would love to see a picture of them once they are off, I cannot see how these would bend in that area). You get some battle version universal adjustable endlinks and weld them on. Or most places that sell truck offroading suspension have similar universal weldable options. Personally, poly bushings have never failed me on the LCAs.

You can pick up ball joints from anywhere. They are plentiful and abundant. No need to go with anything crazy as the steering knuckle is separate from the LCA so it doesnt need to be extended or messed with.

It's a safe bet that all your bushings are toast, the subframe bushings in the back are notorious for causing steering problems under load, your front control arm bushings are almost certainly bad

I've got a set of control arms with brand new balljoints installed, bushings are perfect. They are early style as they don't have the larger tension rod holes from the 88/89, so they are compatible with 84-87. PM for a price if interested…reasonable

you are VERY likely going to need to either replace the subframe, or repair the control arm's bolt holes! same thing happened on my 87T. youre also likely to need to cut bolts out, so be prepared to replace them all. esp. the rear eccentrics!

the rear control arm bearings can be easily sourced, and aren't terrible to replace.

If the mounting holes in the subframe are ovaled you can weld a washer to the subframe had to do that to mine 4-5 years ago and still no problem.

i sent you a pm greg. I am going to but a master poly bushing kit from thezstore.com and just replace every bushing as a good start. The master kit does not come with subframe bushings so ill buy them separately. I will see when i replace them if the hole are ovaled out at the subframe and wield some heavy duty washers on or if its just the bushings. Thanks for the tips guys you have pointed out several things i should just replace.
