Need a measurement on Late model Z31 Rear Calipers
Well, I'm doing something Unique again. This time its a rear disc brake conversion and I will be using Late Z31 Rear Calipers (the wide ones that use vented rotors).
But I will not be using z31 rotors. Before I order Parts there are two measurements I still need to make sure everything will go together and clear the inside of the wheels.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone pulled off their rear wheel and gave me an accurate measure of the following; (see picture below for clarification.)
Measurement "A" - Distance from rotor to outboard edge of caliper bracket. (this is the one I need most)
Measurement "B" - Distance from rotor to outboard edge of caliper at its widest spot. (I am aware that this measurement shrinks with pad wear, so please tell me if your pads are new, 50% almost gone ETC)
Measurement "C" - Distance from outside edge of rotor to tallest part of the caliper
I find using the probe that sticks out of the bottom of a vernier calipers does a really good job for "A" but you gotta get a little creative for "B"
Thanks

Ok one of my buddies got back to me. Silly me, "A" isn't really a factor, the z31 brakes don't have an arch there.
"B" was reported as 1.125" with about .125" pad wear. So about 1.25" with new pads or 31.75mm
But I still don't have "C"…
I'm sure it will be fine, the rotors I'll be using are smaller than the ones on the front and the fronts have Huge calipers on them.
Its a '74 260z BTW. This disc conversion and an Air Filter are about all that's standing between me and driving it.10:1 VG33E Swap 200HP
