    I think its more toward why bother re-drilling z32 caliper to better release trapped air

    Right, you could modify the caliper, but for the effort, you might as well get a new caliper without the problem…

    It is very little effort to go to G-E's or the EVO caliper. Its just a matter of dollars and sense.

    Keep in mind that if you convert to the slip-on rotor hubs of the late 87-89 Turbo cars, then any off-the-shelf OEM or aftermaket upgrade from the Z32 through the Z34 and G35/G37 will be a direct bolt-on. This includes the Brembo package from the 350Z and the Akebono 14" setup from the 370Z sport package cars.
    For the Akebonos to fit you need the conversion kit to fit a Z32.

    Basic Info

    • SF models are all NAs and all of Canadian origin.
    • 1984 and 1985 NAs and 1986 SF models are 4 lug. All other models/years are 5 lug.
    • All year Z31 front brakes are vented.
    • 1984-1986 rear brakes are solid. All others are vented.
    • 1987-1989 front turbo brakes are dual piston style. All others are single piston.
