Aluminum under tray?

  • Aluminum under tray?

I wasn't sure WHERE to pose this inquiry.
I know that Zach/ASCO is currently selling out his remaining stock.

WHO? - was the original developer of the under tray?

WHEN - (timeframe) did this come out?

I tried to search, but I think all of the original threads were lost years ago.

Lastly … those that purchased/installed them.

    PROS or CONS?

    Thanks ....

I don't have the link anymore - deleted it after the seller sold out. But the first I recall seeing the metal splash shields for sale was on a company site maybe 7 years ago. IIRC, if was unfortunately one of the few Z31 items they offered before being discontinued.

Edit: Zspeedperformance was the site. The link I found was dead, but I found this thread mentioning it.

    Thanks for the info.

Follow-up question(s) (turbofedz) .. or anyone else who may have knowledge/opinion.

    1. Less than 10 min install? Then it uses factory mounting locations/hardware to install?
    2. Anything to report .. regarding having it installed .. PROs vs CONs? Performance vs asthetics vs maintenance … ?

I don't know if the item is on the ASCO site. Zach posted it's availability (Qty: 4) on FB: Nissan Z31 300ZX Buy/Sell/Trade
