I took an 89 240sx trans and bolted my Z bellhousing and extension housing to it.

look on the bellhousing to see what model trans it is, the 240zx trans i used was actually a 71B

Ride it like you stole it…

71b's use an exposed rod with the shifter directly attached to it.......I dont think this will work in a z31. You sure it was a 71b??
