Umm more like the electric motor for the seat was blown and I couldnt get the seat to move forward to get the last 2 bolts jackass.
I will vouch that it's very frustrating to remove a seat with a motor that is stuck. But your "Manual" is a piece of shit and is leading you in the wrong direction to begin with.I managed to do it. It is extremely hard and painful and you need patience and time. But use various spanners both box end and cresent. Don't be surprised if you broke a few tools along the way it's worth to get the junk seat out.

z31 is a poor man's F40. yea… it is awesome!!!! wind cheating and cool

Junk seat? If replacing, 4.5" grinder sounds like it would work wonders.
