Thinking about cutting my stock springs?

camber is going to be fubar, as if it wasn't bad enough with the semi rear trailing arm setup.

Hell, the best shocks in the world wont hold up the that shit. Cutting your springs is stupid, people. Just do it right. I spent a grand total of 600$ on FULL suspension, poly everything, and decent springs and shocks. Your ride sucks because you have blown struts. Replace them. Go coilover if you want to slam your car and not be laughed at (and you WILL be laughed at for cutting your springs).

I am with KhyronZX, where is the flame-brigade.

I also demand the flame brigade. How many people are this desperate to lower their car? I would at minimum put eibach springs and kyb struts on any car I owned rather than taking a hacksaw to my shoddy stock coils.

I second the Eibachs. I love em, and it's not ghetto. WTF people, you realize the "slam scene" is about status right? The amount of money and parts you buy make the car "cool".

how weird… its like he's standing in gas and playing with matches…

    Pros:
    free
    easy
    fun?
    lowers car
    stiffens ride
Low cars bring the girls (?)
can join the "no fat chicks, will scrape" club

    Cons:

    blows struts
    emphasizes negative camber
    might mess with caster
if not done well can unseat springs
if not even will make the car lean = negative status and the cool kids will like you less
not as stable for strenuous driving
Uncomfortable bouncy squeaky painful ride repels the girls (?)

if you want autoX or circuit type racing don't cut them cause you'll ruin your caster.
    Just don't post anymore mmm-kay?

Don't listen to him. Do it right and either buy lowering springs, or go coilover.
