Holset Turbo Install FAQ, and Holset Info w/ Maps

10cm is found on the HX30, which makes it much more rare than the HX35/W's 12cm housing.
10cm is twin scroll, and I believe it's available in both v-band and key-hole flange type. If it's keyhole flange, you can just get a flange with V-band on it, or weld one to the flanges that the guy in the For Sale section is offering for a great price.

A Hx 35/40 combo is nice really nice…
Hx 35, have revved passed 7000rpms more than once, and it still pulls.

I think the bigger issue is running out of useable rpm before things start breaking, not so much running out of turbo capacity

any one know where to get specs on a said holset when i have the numbers off the data plate?

also, i have an h1c. would it be better to weld a flange to the stock mani or crossover pipe and run a 38mm external wastegate or switch exhaust housings to an hx35 internal wastegate?

going to be running in stock turbo location.

Has anyone used HX35Super or HX40Super?

I was looking at the holset hx series the other day using a factory catalog that gave specs and etc. Of every hx series turbo and what they came on and didn't see any type of hxsuper

I can't find english pages. Keeps showing too many local language pages.

That's probably not a real Holset. A lot of knock offs have started showing up lately. Either that or it's some kind of custom deal that company came up with. If you want a "better" Holset, you'd be better off getting a real one, a Bullseye Power exhaust housing and a Batmowheel.

It is real and pretty much every single turbo dealer in here sells them. Knock off are illegal and customs will take them.

If that is a legit Holset site, then it looks like the Super 40 exists, but I don't see anything there about a Super 35. The fact that that one is shown with the Holset ID and serial tag removed makes me think it's not a genuine Holset product and is just something that site puts together using Holset housings. All I can find about legit upgraded Holsets is info on a Super 40 and a Pro 52.

It's Customs job to know genuine and counterfeit.

Lol, I can come up with some local shops selling chinacopy turbo as many as they can here in finland.

And they sell those chinacopys as Holset etc.?
China crap they sell, but not as original.
