EXACTLY, too often the wrong things have been done by people with long and illustrious credentials, who are too stubborn to admit they screwed up…

Reason behind the "inverted" bushing is get as low as possible. We have made additional mods to the stock Z frame rails to accommodate this as well, also we are using the OEM washers that would normally be on the S14 to sandwich everything together.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the "inverted" bushing make the ride height higher instead of lower as your subframe is now gapped off the chassis by the actual bottom of the bushing?

the coilovers lower the car, changing the angles of every arm… raise the subframe and it would be like raising the car

But if you raise the subframe in relation to the ground it would tuck it up more effectively making the car lower. If you have that 1/2" of the bushing spacing between the chassis and subframe then you lose that 1/2" of extra lowering (if you go that low) that you would get from coilovers. The bushings are intended for S-chassis, so why not install them the way they would fit on an S-chassis that isn't running coilovers? Just my 2 cents.

Guys, the subframe has no bearing on the ride height. But if you don't tuck it up as far as you can to the chassis, the angles on all the arms will not be desirable. Especially, on a lowered car.

That's right. I'm being full blown today. Long story short tho, they have an intended orientation for a reason. If it was better to install them upside down, everyone would.

Yeah, I was just messing with you. I've been waiting for my euro bumper lights that were "shipped out" in late January.
