I've sourced r33 skyline e-brake setup with cables.
Installed r/h side and fits nicely.
Need to do the left and then figure out how to run/connect up cables.
    Any recommendations/links?

    Cheers.

Does anyone have a link or diagram for petrol tank fuel lines? Of course I didn't label them when removing tank! so not sure which tank hose goes to left or right line on the car.

does anybody know how this would go in the Y31 cima with the r200 longnose? i can supply a pic of the stock subframe if needed to compare?

Should be similar to the R31.. it's very similar to ours but everything is a little different

ok sweet, so i could use the guides etc here to basically make my own to suit, thankyou so much! very happy as i bought a z32 TT frame to do before even researching (wider i know but the cima is very wide)

  • Ok, so i have a question for everyone.. I'm doing my own set up similar to this:

Also using the new style stance solid bushings which push the rear mount up tight to the underside of the cross member.

and would like to know at what level people are setting their front mount, distance wise from the stock mounting point to the top of the S13/S14/Z32 or whatever front mounting point. As seen in this diagram:

I'm not lowering my car, so pushing everything up as tight as possible is not imperative, would i be better off putting a spacer above the rear mount and doing less frame notching?
    Set up is as follows:
    S13 subframe
    S13 sway bar
Q45 uprights, arms, diff and 1 half shaft
    1 Z32 half shaft
    z32 struts with stock springs
    Q45 brakes

  • maybe this will/won't help. in regards to the rear bushing height (which is also up for debate as to how high it should be, in relation to the front/subframe pitch)- when I asked- i got this asinine reply.

It only matters if you know what you want, and how to go about it (purposely vague). As you can see in the picture, I'm not in to compliance/deflection lol. Did it make a noticeable difference? I haven't slid it yet, but I'll know more after the 24th . It drives great otherwise though (beside the expected "tracking" from an eyeball-alignment).
i guess you have to know exactly what you want :-/

  • Always, ALWAYS push it up as high as you can in the rear. The front will determine the tilt, which is up to personal preference, as it has an effect on the character of the car (adjusts traction). Mine has a slight nose up tilt.

This enables all your links to have a pretty nice geometry with a lowered car, and to mimic how it normally sits in an S13 at stock ride height.

just thinking out loud here.. doesn't the rear limit the adjustability of the front? how much articulation does fastening the rear up as high as possible allow you to have in the front with solid bushings? i figure the studs would bind in the bushings and not allow for much adjustment at the front… how much are we talking here? 5 degrees +/- from dead even?

  • Doesn't matter if he welds the mounts in like that… only matters if he changes the angle AFTER

  • I guess the big question is what is supposed to be the offset between front and back? Does moving it up or down increase traction, and what are the side effects?
