The s14 diff cover has a 2 bolt mount setup, while the s13 has a 4 bolt mount setup. This is why you have to use the s13 diff cover when you swap a s14, J30, or q45 vlsd into a s13 sub-frame.

    ^^^

There is probably a reason when a seller makes it a point to list it as S14 ONLY, limiting their market. A minute or two of google image searching shows the differences well

LOL I guess I should have looked for the diff cover I was just looking at the sub-frames to compare
LOL and on top of that looks like the sub-frame and diff I pulled out of a 1989 only has two bolts for the diff cover lol now this makes me wonder what I have sitting on my floor

Side-note: someone needs to see if the increased capacity diff cover actually clears the gas tank on the Z31, as I imagine it may stick out a bit too much and may make contact. Even 1/4 inch of space on a hard launch might be cutting it close due to torsion, but I've never been under a car to witness how much it twists at the mounts during a launch (who has?)- especially with solid mount bushings.

but judging from this image below, it looks like there is plenty of room:

I have the Q45 cover, which is basically the same thing, and it clears just fine.

    Update.

Manufacturing is well underway. I have 3 suppliers for the project, so getting everyone on the same time schedule has been interesting. Do I have finished/welded pictures for you? No.. Have I test fit it on my car? YES. Its magnificent.

Yesterday, MANY of these were made. They all look this good too.
